Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students attend a Title I school in the small town of Albertville. My class is composed of over 70% English Language Learners. My students are eager and passionate little learners. The smallest things amaze them and captivate learning opportunities. They have a true passion for learning new things and exploring the world before them. Each student has their own special characteristic that makes them stand out.
My Project
Students will be able to engage in independent literacy and math skill practices with magnet center! Students will be able to form letters, build words, form numbers, and put numbers in numeric order during center time. Application and skill practice will be fun and engaging!
Learning centers with manipulative objects that promote play are vital in learning for kindergarten students!
We love playing while learning in our classroom in our learning centers. These magnets will be great tools for students to demonstrate what they are learning through building and creating!
