My students come from a rural Utah town. Our moderate poverty school has many students who are receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Despite their circumstances, my students are hardworking, dedicated, and eager to learn. They deserve the same experiences, equipment, and tools, including technology, that other more affluent middle schools offer.
My students and I are grateful for any materials donated to our classroom that can enhance the learning experience.
School is a great place to learn and have fun!
My Project
We are requesting 8 magnetic graphs that we can stick to our whiteboards which will allow students to draw graphs from scientific data.
Having magnetic graphs that can clearly be seen from all parts of a classroom will enable my students to engage in the 3 dimensions of science practices by analyzing and interpreting data and using mathematics and computational thinking.
Magnetic whiteboard graphs surpass a projected image because students are able to add, view, or transform shapes and lines effortlessly.
We appreciate that you value education by donation to our classroom.
