This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school-based occupational therapist, I work with students across all grade levels including preschool-5th grade. Many of the students who I work with have difficulties with various motor skills and sensory processing skills.

The magnetic boards are the perfect resources to strengthen their fine motor skills while learning their math readiness skills.

It's a great way to teach my students about colors, counting, and how magnets work, all while enhancing their fine motor skills. They will use the magnetic pen to move beads from the track to the corresponding numbers and colors. With these magnetic puzzles my students can practice color matching and counting skills while developing patience and concentration.
