When you walk into the early childhood hallway you can always feel the energy. We love to learn and we love to move!
Each and every morning we say our school creed and part of the creed is "we soar above the rest" I truly believe in each and every one of my students and that we do soar!
I am honored to be the first teacher that these young learners have, but with that comes a huge responsibility. I must make sure that not only are they prepared for next school year but that their very first experiences in school are positive.
My Project
The magna tiles are not only a wonderful hands on fun manipulative activity but they will provide many hours of wonderful learning opportunities. We will use the magna tiles to explore the idea of magnets, shapes, balance and even geometry. The magna tiles are also great for building fine motor skills and will be a fun addition to our light table.
When at all possible we should make learning fun and these magna tiles will definitely make learning shapes, balance and working out those tiny hand muscles a lot more fun!
I can't wait to watch the faces of the children when they get to explore the magna tiles, it will be priceless!
