Magnet Board Activities

My Project

Earlier this year, my class had a project funded to get a magnetic white board. We've used the white board to work on colors and handwriting and during play time with alphabet magnetic tiles and regular magnetic tiles. Now we would like more items to utilize the white board more.

The items in this project will go toward learning in preschool with STEM activities.

At the preschool age, we explore with hands-on materials and through play. The Create-A-Path magnetic center and the Engineer-A-Coaster are cause and effect activities that students will build and learn with. The magnetic tile with numbers and the ten frames will help strengthen math skills through counting, quantities, and number recognition. These materials will be used during play and center learning.

This project is to help build on the resources already used in the classroom. I want to be thoughtful and resourceful when providing activities for my students throughout the day.
