Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These magnatiles will be for my small group reading station. I will write on these tiles the skills that we are learning for the week and then students will connect those tiles to form words.
This will help me to keep my lessons hands-on.
I think that hands-on learning is so important for students.
When students are able to manipulate tiles and then put it back together, they are more likely to remember it. My students like to use things that they can move to form words. These tiles would allow me to use another resource in the classroom.
