This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to play with Magna-Tiles! Everyday there are 3-4 students huddled together playing with these special building blocks- creating cubes & structures, naming plane shapes & solid figures, trading & turn-taking. And in another part of the classroom, there is another small group that has taken the Magna-Tiles to make vehicles or simple stacks. It's awesome to see the variety in their thinking and play.
Creativity and imagination must be nurtured in the early years!
The addition of animal tiles and habitat tiles is sure to enhance their play and cognitive skills. Help me help my students embark on new and exciting adventures with Magna-Tiles.
