Magna Tiles Building Fun!

Help me give my students unique sculpture building Magna Tiles so my students can grow their creativity and engineering skills.

My Students

I am teaching a group of 21 amazing kindergarten children. During this difficult time, young children need to feel safe, cared for, and loved. Children face several challenges in and out of the classroom setting. I have some children that have never been in a structured environment and others come from a well-structured environment. There is such a large gap on an educational, physical, social and emotional level.

I want my students to feel safe and have a positive experience in the first year of their education.

My Project

Magna Tiles are a high interest building material for young children. My kindergarten students love to visualize, create, build, design and pretend! These magnetic shapes are perfect for this. The various shapes and sizes would help to teach children early math concepts as they create structures and objects with Magna Tiles. Sharing materials encourages team work, patience and problem solving skills. Magna Tiles would be very beneficial to our social center time. The Magna Tiles will benefit the children in my classroom this year and many more years to come.
