My Project

Our students are inquisitive and creative children who LOVE to build in the library. Our library has a dedicated space of two tables that is our Makerspace. In the Makerspace, students find a break from their screen-heavy school day. Our Makerspace features lots of building materials. Students enjoy coming to the Makerspace as a recess option and they continue to develop their fine-motor skills building with Strawbees, Q Ba Maze, Snap-Its, and old-fashioned popsicle sticks and clothespins.

Our students' favorite building materials are Magna-Tiles.

Magna-Tiles allow our students to quickly build (and quickly tear down) anything their imaginations can construct. Magna-Tiles are sturdy, colorful, and safe Makerspace options for our student population.
