Help me give my students the STEM tools to explore with Magnatiles in our Force and Motion unit.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gilger's classroom raised $245

My Students
My happy and kind classroom is full of second graders who have such imaginative and creative sides. They are full of energy and love for others and learning. They are working on developing independence and responsibility in 2nd grade in our room.
I have a great group of students currently in my classroom who come from a variety of life experiences and opportunities.
The majority of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast with limited experiences.
My Project
I would love to provide tactile Stem building tools for our Force and motion unit. I think it would be really neat to have students get into groups and design with magnatiles different ramps and build cars to experiment with surface types and friction.
It would be great to see my students get creative with some of the materials I currently have in our classroom to conduct different experiments with surface types as well as car shapes with these Magnatiles.
With your help I feel these materials will engage students in our science unit in a meaningful impactful way.
