This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this project, I am requesting packages of Model Magic, polymer clay, and plasticine. These are a variety of clays, from air dry, to bake dry to never drying. Our goal with these supplies is to use during mindful art making and the different art therapy techniques we utilize in both the art classes, and health courses. They are fun to use, very accessible, and has a high impact and success rate. Students really enjoy the process of using these clays, but also the artistic results creating projects that they are proud of but also found joy and healing in the process.
