Magical Stories for Prek!

Help me give my students the gift of storytelling. There is magic in listening to familiar stories told in many ways. The Tonies will allow us to have a new listening station to foster the LOVE of reading.

My Project

My students crave different modes to reading and storytelling. The magic shone of their faces when they hear stories retold, sung and performed, especially if its a familiar or a favorite story, is priceless. Pre-K students thrive for connection, imagination and play.

My goal with the Tonies Box and the variety of chosen stories is to foster more literacy opportunities, independence and shared joy in listening to stories.

The stories will build vocabulary, support story retells, engage the kids in acting and most importantly support play and their imagination. The students can listen to their favorite stories over and over again!
