Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students want to be able to use microscopes and be able to do hands on activities. There are many students who want to be able to see the bacteria on our hands or to look closely at the rocks and minerals that they are studying.
Students will be more engaged in learning while doing hands on activities.
The products that I selected will help my students be able to do more hands on activities as we continue to learn about Earth and Earth's history. The materials will also help provide much needed supplies for students to continue to keep science notebooks as they write about their activities and projects. A lot of these materials will be used many times and hopefully with the right care for many years.
