This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working very hard on their social emotional and writing skills this year. We will use these books in various ways. The books will aid my lessons on social-emotional skills and be mentor texts for our opinion and narrative writing.

The donations to this project will help my students learn new skills and new ways they improve their writing skills.

By having these books to read aloud, I will be able to use them to teach a variety of lessons to my students. I have chosen books that my students can relate to so they will be engaged and feel a sense of belonging.
