This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 3 classes, consisting of 21 students each. They are very bright & caring students who love to help each other. I love that each student has their own talents, strengths and dreams. They always look for opportunities to do better & then help others that are struggling.

My students are not only preparing to be future warriors, but they are also becoming warriors in the present.

We are a part of an amazing warrior school, who strive to raise Warriors of Wisdom, Stature & Favor! Each of my students are Warriors and we hold our heads up high as we march in our today, to our tomorrow!

My Project

These incredible materials will have a huge impact on my students learning! They will be able to increase their mind activity by using these tools in the classroom daily. I have chosen these items with each of my students in mind. We will be learning the value of numbers and how to connect them on a time line.

As a result of these unique hands on & visual learning tools my student will be successful in the classroom.

Our goal is to become masters of math by using the place value structure set, fractions cards and multiplication games. We will also learn to tell time & learn how to make good choices with money.

They are already very independent in their classes and I hope to enrich their lives and help them create a love for math. Excitement awaits as we journey through the Magical Numbers of Value.
