My Project
My students are incredibly talented in singing and dancing this year. They look forward to our weekly music classes and shine during this time. Unfortunately, they only receive 8 classes for the entire school year. This week is our last music class.
I would love to continue their music education in the classroom.
Boomwhackers are a safe, simple, and low-cost way to continue their learning of rhythm, beats, and notes. I would love for them to learn how to play simple songs on the Boomwhackers as a class. These instruments will not only inspire their musical creativity but also directly relate to our science and math curriculum and standards. The teamwork needed to orchestrate a cohesive song will also help bond the students through teamwork, cooperation, and patience.
