I teach a magical group of 2nd grade co-taught Mouseketeers for math and science in a virtual setting at our school. This means I am working with students with and without exceptional needs who are not physically with me to teach in traditional ways.
Your donation will help me put tools into their hands and mine to help bridge the divide of not being in the physical classroom together.
The majority of these materials will go to them at their homes so they can follow along during lessons and practice later. Students in a virtual setting often need hands on manipulatives that may not be readily available, but with your donation I could provide those for them.
How will these items be used in my classroom?
- Enhancing my online lessons to make them more engaging for my students.
- Tangible items to help keep students focused within the online environment.
- Remediation and enrichment activities for students to do during and after school hours.
- Items to help mail out these materials to students.
- Office items that will help with a better environment for myself for teaching students remotely for 8 hours;
