This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from all walks of life, creating a diverse school population where they learn from one another on a daily basis. I want them to grow up to be critical thinkers and life-long learners who are compassionate, empathetic, and cognizant of anyone and everyone. The students who I have the pleasure of interacting with are absolutely amazing. I may be partial, but they are thoughtful teenagers who are going to change the world.
It is time to invest in their futures now, by bringing them the best educational tools to help them succeed in their current and future endeavors in order to create innovative leaders of the future with social-emotional intelligence to build their character, kindness, mindfulness, and empathy.
I try to do this every day, but it really does take a village!
My Project
A monitor in and of itself is simply a necessary evil that allows one to see what is on the computer. Typically, any working monitor will do for one person, but what happens when more eyes need to see what is on the monitor? This is where the magical monitor comes into play.
The magical monitor will allow students and parent alike to be able to view what is on the screen, sharing results, assessments, progress monitoring, etc, without having to squint, moving closer, or zooming in to see what is on the screen.
In addition, this monitor has built-in speakers, which allow for information to be disseminated to everyone in the room! It truly is a magical monitor.
