Our math curriculum includes multiple components and it is my goal this year to teach students autonomy and ownership of their learning by storing the necessary materials in clear and organized trays in this storage shelf.
Students will be able to self-select from math games, review activities, and open-ended extension materials.
With this shelving unit, I will be able to place materials in labeled trays which will make it easier for students to independently find the desired activity and then return it to the correct place. Additionally, the shelving will reduce the current visual clutter in our classroom, reducing sensory overload.
