This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Halloween books engage young readers with captivating stories, vibrant illustrations, and characters they can relate to. These books can ignite a passion for reading, which is a fundamental skill for academic success.

Reading Halloween-themed stories can improve vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency.

I have a lot of Spanish-speaking students that will benefit from the English vocabulary in these books. These books will encourage students to practice reading independently and aloud, building their literacy skills. Halloween books often feature imaginative plots and characters, sparking creativity and encouraging students to explore their own storytelling abilities. By donating to our cause, you'll be directly contributing to the educational growth and enjoyment of my first-grade students. Your support will provide them with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of Halloween through books, fostering a love for learning that will benefit them throughout their lives.
