My Project

Distance learning was a scary and lonely time for many students. As we returned to campus, many kids needed extra support to return to school and make friends. My students created a club to help.

Every Friday flocks of students race to my classroom for a lunchtime game of Magic the Gathering.

These are often shy, quiet kids who need a group, a friend, or a social outlet. Right now a single student is funding the entire club; he uses his pocket money to make sure each new kid has a few cards and can play. I want to help support them and allow them to invite new friends. Everyone can be included.
