My Students
What is the biggest challenge you face in your job? For a teacher, it is instilling the LOVE of reading! My students are begging me for this book! They love to read!
My students are eager learners who love to be entertained and have fun while learning.
Although eager to learn, many of my students lack the resources they need to be successful readers. Our school is in a rural area, and for some, the school library is their only access to books. Often the only reading my students do is at school since there are not books at home.
My students have become independent readers that are literally begging for books this year! My students have read the first two books in this series and are now begging me to get the third book in their hands. Students who love to read and are begging for more are truly a dream! Can you help their dreams become a reality?
My Project
My students need 10 copies of the book Switch, the third book in a series. My students will use these books in literature circles. Along with encouraging my students to read independently, these books are also helping to develop their vocabulary through context. We will use these books during class to read independently and students will use their creativity to create a project at the conclusion of their reading to inspire others to read this book.

My students are truly inspirational and are encouraging each other to read and read higher level books. They are talking about books to each other and are excited to read their next book. Having students begging for more is truly every teacher's wish. Can you help make wishes come true?
