My Students

My students are intelligent, kind-hearted, and very curious. They love to learn about new subjects every day. They come to school each day eager to learn and grow. They are my world!

Math and Science opens up another world for my students.

Investigating the unknown helps them stay creative! Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of a lack of supplies and resources. I also want to start a S.T.E.M program with my students and hope for the whole School family schools nationwide!

My Project

Every student has the ability to learn. Many students just need scaffolds in place to be successful. These scaffolds are the manipulatives chosen for this project. I also use a variety of instructional techniques to catch students up as well as move them towards a stronger conceptual understanding.

More than 65 % of students are kinesthetic learners, that's why I am requesting these different math manipulative's so my students can use them to close learning gaps and to fix any misconceptions.

Many scholars have to physically touch and perform activities in addition to listening to lectures to build on their conceptual understanding. Studies show that these manipulative's will help set them up for success!
