This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach first graders that already have the ability to read. They are at an age that they thrive when they can learn something new every single day.
I plan to use this chapter book, "Midnight on the Moon", to foster a love for reading with an actual book in their hands.
We can read thousands of books on line, but holding an actual book makes the adventure so much better.
My students will be using this chapter book to enrich the gifted curriculum during the fourth grading period.
