it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The Magic Carpet Of Learning!
My students need spacious carpet for personal space to learn and work.
I am a Kindergarten teacher. I work in a Title I school, where the majority of the students are ESOL (speak languages other than English at home). They love to sing and dance while learning in their new language and learning about the American culture! This is the first time most of my students have been in a school setting.
I have an extraordinary group of students whom I have come to love dearly.
Most of my students are visual learners, therefore we spend time on the carpet learning our basic skills such as letter and number recognition, counting, etc. Being able to learn through music and video has been very beneficial to them.
My Project
Having a new, colorful and spacious carpet in our classroom will make whole group learning on the carpet more engaging and less distracting. The students are normally crowded on our current carpet. In addition, the carpet is unraveling on the edges and the students constantly pull at the threads, causing further unraveling. A new and larger carpet will allow all students to have their own personal space.
My Project
Oh, The Places You'll Go!!! Kindergarten students are full of imagination!!
Having a new, colorful and spacious carpet in our classroom will make whole group learning on the carpet more engaging and less distracting.
The students are normally crowded on our current carpet. In addition, the carpet is unraveling on the edges and the students constantly pull at the threads, causing further unraveling. A new and larger carpet will allow all students to have their own personal space to learn and grow. In addition, it will decrease behavior and distractions during lessons and activities.
My students enjoy working on the floor with their friends!
I would love for them to be able to have space to work in small groups on activities and projects! Having this will help my students a great deal!
