Magic Carpet Ride: Help Us Enhance Our PRE-K Learning Area

My Project

Our classroom is a vibrant space where young minds begin to explore, imagine and grow. Our current carpet has served us well but is worn and no longer provides the clean space needed for group activities.

By donating to our project, not only will you help enhance our environment with a new carpet, but you will affirm students' individuality by providing tools to support their learning experiences.

An art easel, sensory center, and multicultural dolls, will enhance our students' growth and development. A new carpet will offer a comfortable, dedicated area for story-time, whole group instruction and group play, fostering a sense of community and engagement among the students. An art easel will stimulate creativity, allowing students to express themselves through painting and drawing while developing fine motor skills. A sensory center with hands-on activities will cater to various learning styles and sensory needs. By engaging with tactile materials and sensory-rich experiences, children will develop skills such as problem-solving and motor coordination.

Additionally, multicultural dolls will help our students see and celebrate diversity within their classroom. These dolls will support social emotional learning, teaching about different cultures and fostering an environment of inclusion and respect.
