This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
5th graders still enjoy sitting on the carpet! The carpet facilitates peer-to-peer interactions during group activities, discussions, and games. It encourages students to work together, share ideas, and learn from each other, enhancing their social and communication skills.
A carpet provides a comfortable and cozy space for students to sit during lessons and activities.
When students are physically comfortable, they can better concentrate on their learning tasks, leading to improved focus and engagement.
A classroom carpet plays a pivotal role in nurturing a positive and supportive learning atmosphere, especially in my ELA classroom. It fosters comfort, collaboration, and creativity, enabling students to thrive academically and emotionally. It will be the focal point of our classroom that brings the entire room together.
