This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students in Providence are caring, smart, and full of excitement! They love working together with each other to complete learning tasks and fun projects to expand their learning. They come to school eager every day to learn new things and socialize with their peers.
My students love hands-on activities, fun challenges, as well as calm and quiet reading time!
They are wonderful helpers and enjoy being leaders in the classroom. They put their best foot forward in all that they are learning and accomplish.
My Project
Having a classroom rug will help me provide more engaging lessons for all of my students. All of my students will be able to come to sit in the rug and participate in classroom conversations, hands-on activities, and we will be able to hold morning meetings more effectively.
Having a classroom rug where everyone can sit and communicate is extremely important in creating a positive, welcoming classroom environment.
We will be able to do whole-class activities such as math games, instructional videos, and social-emotional learning lessons in a more productive space other than at our desks and chairs.
