Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students’ determination, enthusiasm, and courage as they work hard to learn a new language. Many of them are English language learners who are currently reading below grade level while building their English skills.
The magazines I’m requesting will provide accessible, high-interest texts designed to support their language development and inspire a love of reading.
These carefully chosen resources will help strengthen their vocabulary, improve reading comprehension, and build their confidence. With engaging topics and vibrant visuals, these magazines make reading enjoyable and meaningful, encouraging my students to grow as readers while steadily improving their English proficiency.
