Magazines Speak to ELL Students

Help me give my students Scholastic Magazines to help my students understand science and the news easier.

My Project

High school students learning English need to both learn the new language and learn the material at the same time. Images, drawn and photographic, with easy to understand concepts helps these students.

Scholastic Magazines helps our ELL students understand concepts quickly.

The magazines go to Social Studies and English teachers to be used to enhance their lessons. Even if the magazines do not match the immediate subject area, it helps show students how to break down content for easier understanding.

Scholastic Magazines provide a doorway to help our high school students, with little to no English, move forward in their learning.
