This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach second grade Dual Language. My students need to have everything labeled to promote and sustain their language aquisition. These supplies will be used daily in our classroom and are essential for our students' learning and creativity. The stickers and labels play an important role in this! I also wish to protect their work with the laminator.

By donating to our project, you are not only supporting our students but also helping them navigate with ease during the transitions of the day and keeping track of their achievements with the reward system tracker.

It's crucial to have a reward system in place to keep students at such young age motivated to keep on doing the hard work that it is learning a second language at 7 years old! The chime would represent a calm transition signal for them to know when to stop or change the setting or activity. The flashlights are a teaching strategy that will help them look and find the keyword or number that they are searching in a fun and engaging way. Your donation will help foster a love of learning and provide our students with the resources they need to succeed in the years to come.
