My Project
We will be creating gifts for our loved ones prior to winter break. Students have a few days that we slow down and go back in time it seems.
Students are learning how to thread a needle, stitch, and create a memorable gift for the ones they love. We have loved getting to watch our students through the years complete this project and have such pride in something they’ve made by hand.
With the constant input our kids get from the world around them, it’s truly so wonderful to get to see them slow down and appreciate learning about a trade. Many stories are shared about their grandparents and it is a great time where we continue to foster our classroom family.
