This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a Title I district and teach 6th grade special education who have never had a formal science class before. I am incorporating more project-based learning assignments to get them engaged in the topics we cover. Recently, we have started using a green screen to record different presentations but lack simple editing software for me to teach them. Having access to iMovie on the iPad Pro to edit their videos would make things so much easier for my students to learn.

My students love working together and getting creative with our new science curriculum and access to an iPad would be an excellent addition!
