This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a District 75 high school. District 75 provides highly specialized instructional support for students with significant challenges. As an ENL (English as a New Language) teacher, I service over 40 students. My students are amazing, courageous, and determined human beings challenged with various disabilities as well as language challenges. I am requesting a MacBook Air.
All students regardless of their challenges can benefit from this technology, a MacBook Air will allow me to download software that will be extremely useful for student learning.
There are many programs that my students would be able to benefit from. Currently, school computers are locked and come with preprogrammed software. Having this Macbook Air in the classroom will be a great addition to our learning tools and provide students with endless possibilities.
