This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are imaginative problem-solvers who are always eager to explore new ideas and bring them to life. I love how curious and fearless they are when given the chance to create—whether they’re building with their hands, telling stories, or experimenting with new technologies. They remind me every day that brilliance doesn’t always come from a textbook—it often starts with a question, a spark, and the right tools.

That’s why we’re building a digital maker space in our school library, and we need your help.

With five iMac computers, my students will have access to powerful tools for coding, design, multimedia storytelling, research, and more. These iMacs will serve as creative workstations for student-led projects, encompassing digital books, videos, 3D modeling, and presentations. They’ll also support collaboration, critical thinking, and tech skills that'll serve them well for years to come.

This space will be open to all students and will be a hub for creativity, innovation, and joyful learning. Your support puts technology directly in their hands—and shows them their ideas are worth investing in.
