This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Lunch time is the most exciting part of the day for students. It is the time that they can socialize with their friends and join in on their favorite activities. This time is solely for students to enjoy themselves. For some students it is more difficult to find something enjoyable during this time. Which is why I am proposing to create a lunch bunch group.

Creating a space in which students can socialize, be creative, and have a sense of belonging.

The materials in this project include various art and crafts for students to complete during group. I have also included snacks on this project for students to have something to eat during this time and a cart to carry all the materials. They will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious snack while building on their social skills and having a safe space with an adult present to support them.
