My students need lunch at Applebee's before we go see the Lion King on Broadway.

My Students
My students will be able to properly navigate a computer screen using a mouse, as well as learning their ABC's and 123's through computer games that I can monitor or they can self monitor. The portability of MacBook Air will help in terms of storage, so that it can be moved to where there is room for my students to use the computer.
Too often students use the Internet and randomly click on websites that they can, without realizing the places where they are entering.
With carefully monitored games, not only will my students be able to learn how to use the mouse, but they will learn the lessons needed for kindergarten.
My Project
My students have been practicing for months their lines and choreography as they prepare for our performance of the Lion King for friends, family and the school community.
One of the treats of putting on the school play is seeing the Lion King on Broadway.
They are so excited about being part of the school play. We now need to worry about providing lunch for them. We are requesting lunch at Applebee's on Times Square for them to have a full stomach so they can enjoy themselves, especially after learning a Broadway skit from a Broadway performer. The majority of these students have never been to a Broadway show or Times Square. This will give them the opportunity to experience both!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
