Lunar New Year for Everybody

Help me give my students books for enjoyment and research on Lunar New Year along with materials to make crafts pertaining to the holiday.

My Project

Lunar New Year is a tradition is China but celebrated all across the world. In order for children to be abreast of events outside of their immediate area, we must educate them on such happenings and festivals. Students can read fun stories and use nonfiction books to enlighten themselves on the topic. This project is to ensure that my students are aware of Lunar New Year.

Students will read and create crafts geared towards the learning of Lunar New Year.

These books will be shared with other classrooms to support the learning of various classes. My students can also do research and print copies of pertinent information for their writings. They will also create goldfish kites using cardstock, crepe paper, and googly eyes to end the lesson. Please assist us in learning more about Lunar New Year by helping us to gain these resources.
