My Project

Our School has about 30% students of Asian Descent and before Covid, classes would bring in dishes to share with their classes and they would celebrate Lunar New Year with a huge pot luck lunch. Because of the Covid Pandemic and Restrictions, we are now limited to only serving store bought foods.

Sharing food is a major part of Lunar New Year Celebrations and these funds would help our third grade classes (80 students) have a special lunch together as a community.

Although we would still love to be able to share our own dishes, purchasing foods would be such a fun substitute. There is nothing like good food to bring people light and happiness. Thank you!
