This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders work hard and are very active learners. Many come from homes that aren't always able to provide extra for snacks, and with our late lunch time, it is important to have that little extra boost in the mornings that a snack can give. In addition, the little ducks will be used to promote positive behavior and making good choices throughout the day. Everyone wants to be the "lucky duck" and earn a prize for following expectations, making good choices and trying their best every day.

Providing snacks and promoting positive behavior will help my students have motivation to always strive to do their best and meet goals.

Having a long cable to join my laptop and smartboard will make it easier for me to efficiently keep students engaged in learning. The connection should allow me to smoothly transition the display from laptop to document camera as quickly as possible.
