it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Maestra Parra! Our class is part of the Dual Language Program in beautiful Arizona. The program focuses on developing culturally responsive, active learners who are intellectually challenged and engaged. It is wonderful to see kids develop a love for the languages English and Spanish! What better way to learn a language than with hands-on STEM activities?

This project is designed to provide students with STEM activities that require creative thinking. These STEM activities will keep students off their screens and engaging with peers.
Strategy games can significantly benefit kids' scientific thinking and understanding by fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills.
Sphero littleBits provide numerous science benefits by making complex concepts like circuitry, engineering, and physics accessible and engaging for learners of all ages
Rubik's Cubes: It is an opportunity to use hands-on practice to work with algorithms, which is the foundation of computer programming and mechanics.
Hot Wheels hands-on learning of physical concepts like speed, momentum, and basic physics
Chess: training and practice support the development of higher-order thinking skills, like problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, planning, and even creative thinking.
