My Students
My students are vibrant and dynamic young people. They bring exciting insights and fresh ideas into my classroom each day. What I love most about my students are their critical minds; they ask thoughtful questions that challenge the world around them.
My students are developing a love for reading-- often asking for more time to read independently in class.
Our class library is growing! My students take the knowledge from the texts they explore to make real change in their school and community. It is an honor to support my learners as they explore the world.
My Project
My students love to read! And as our classroom library grows, so does their appreciation for different genres and authors. Many teachers, community members, and friends have donated books to our classroom library. We need additional storage space to keep our books organized. Our classroom isn't very big, so additional storage needs to also provide additional seating. Storage benches will not only store books, but also give students choices in where they read. Inflatable chairs will also give students the opportunity to sit and read more comfortably (and because they are inflatable they will not always take up the limited space we have).
