Loving Music Through Coding With Specdrums!

Help me give my students Specdrums for our music room! Our students have been doing unbelievable things with technology and coding which includes the use of Spheros! Specdrums will allow us to blend music and coding. How exciting!

My Students

I am a School Counselor in a K-4 Elementary School with 500 students in Norristown, PA. They are amazing innovators, creative thinkers and work endlessly with empathy and compassion to take care of self, others and things.

Each student in our building comes to school excited and ready to learn.

They engage in many opportunities in our curriculum, technology such as Spheros and coding, a Makerspace room, a Relaxation room, and a safe environment through our PBIS program. Our staff works hard to provide these programs and other innovative ideas to our students at our school.

My Project

My students at Paul Fly have been doing amazing things utilizing technology and coding. They especially enjoy collaborative projects between the Counselor, Lead Teacher and the art teacher. It's time to bring some advanced life to our music room with the use of Specdrums.

Specdrums allow students to create and write their own music and beats through coding!

Not only does this bring an exciting new part of the music curriculum literally at the tips of their fingers, it also helps them build essential skills such as problem solving, creativity, team building and communication skills! Please help bring specdrums to our music program!
