My students are in a full-time, ICT, second-grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
I would love to give my students plenty of options for reading. Thankfully, we have hundreds of books in our classroom. We have fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, folk tales, fairy tales and many more amazing books.
All of our books need a beautiful home!
We plan to use these storage containers as a place to store and organize our classroom library. In this way, it will be easier to spot the book they want to read and check out. It will help us learn about and understand book genres throughout the school year.
Please help make our classroom library a beautiful, functional and inviting place to visit!
