My Project
I love that kids love to come and check out books. What I don't love, is when those books never return. At least once a week a student will ask for a popular book, and I unfortunately must tell them:
"I'm sorry, the book is lost!"
I tell them that it might show up, and I'll let them know if it does. These kids check back weekly to see if their book has been found.
This project is to replace many of our popular books that often go missing. There is nothing more disappointing than telling an eager reader that the book they want, simply disappeared. Students will be so excited to find that their favorite books are back on the shelves, and that they are brand new!
