This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I made sure to buy a leveled library with plenty of below and at grade level books when I began teaching 2nd grade this year. But some of my students are soaring beyond my leveled library. Leveled books allow students to dive into books and grow their reading as they go because they are "just right" books. But I think my leveled library helped my students so much that some of them have moved above the books I have! I would love to have some books at the next two grade levels available for my readers as they move to the next stage.
