Help me give my students the opportunity to read the series of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Charlotte's Web, and have some fun creating winter arts and crafts.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It's a privilege and honor to be serving and teaching farmworker children. My students are kind, humble, and hardworking. They enjoy learning, dancing, and collaborating. They most enjoy being read to and reading independently. We are currently reading Bud Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. Many students have identified with some of the obstacles the main character finds himself in and must overcome. Like Bud, my students look adversity in the eye. They are full of dreams and hopes while living with many hardships.
My Project
The books in this series will help motivate my students reach their Accelerated Reading goals and further instill their love for reading. We have read the first book in the series and my students can't seem to get enough of these characters. The students will be able to take the books home and keep them there until they finish reading them. Since these types of art supplies are not provided, my students will be able to make several art projects and take them home. They will be able to display their creativity with these pieces.
