My students need language arts centers, like the Launch & Learn Language Games and the Pop & Match Vocabulary Games, to help them with vocabulary skills, word building and rhyming sounds.

My Students

Pre-K is not all about play anymore! My goal each year is to make sure my forty students learn through play and love to learn. These children must learn all of their letters and be ready to read as soon as they enter kindergarten.

My students are like little sponges, ready to soak up everything they are exposed to.

I have several students each year with sensory issues and speech obstacles to overcome. All of my students need sensory activities to make learning come alive. I only have two and a half hours a day with each group of children and must make the most out of every minute we have together.

My Project

My students work best in small groups, these language arts centers will be used to reinforce the skills that we are learning in class. I can already envision the looks on their faces when the new materials arrive in our classroom and again as they explore them on their own and have that ah-ha moment when they totally understand a concept.

The new centers will provide more opportunities for these four and five year olds to explore pre-reading skills and prepare them for kindergarten.

More important these activities will provide successful learning experiences that will turn them into lifelong learners.
