My Students
I work with small groups of students in kindergarten and first grade who absolutely love learning. They show up excited to see what skills we are focusing on daily. My kindergarten and first grade friends are working on number identification and number sense in math. In reading, my kindergarten friends are working on letter names and sounds. My first grade friends are working on decoding unknown words. They all give their best effort and are growing tremendously.
My Project
The texts I am asking for are great mentor texts to help my students relate to their emotions and social identities. These books will open a gateway for students to connect and converse with peers about things in their life relating to the text. These texts are important at a young age to help guide students on how to react to certain situations with their emotions.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow for more hands-on center activities for the learners to explore and continue learning and growing. The spinners will help with center centers that call for that material.
