This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students are enjoying their first year of school. Each day is a day of wonder and learning. As we get to know each other our classroom bond gets stronger. Our day starts with a morning routine and flows into a day of exploration. When my students pick up a book from the class library a new journey of wonder begins.
The leveled library books will take my students on a journey of actual books they are able to read independently.
Each student will not only enjoy the pictures but will see words in print and read in context.
